About
Hi! I’m Britta McGuire.
When I’m not helping clients discover their best colors and refine their personal style—or being a mom (aka driver, cook, cleaner, cheerleader, and homework helper)—you’ll usually find me with a book in hand or planning our next trip. I love asking people what they’re reading and sharing my latest favorite. And like any good Minnesotan, I fully embrace the seasons: summers at the lake, fall days at the orchard, winters on the ski hill, and spring… preferably somewhere warm.
I founded North of Neutral to help women take the guesswork out of getting dressed—and start showing up with clarity and confidence. Through personalized color analysis and image consulting, I help women understand what truly works for them—the colors that bring their features to life and the styles that feel effortless, polished, and authentic.
My approach is practical and approachable. This isn’t about overhauling your closet or chasing trends—it’s about creating a cohesive, wearable style that fits your real life. As a mom of three and someone deeply involved in my community, I understand how full life can feel. Your wardrobe should support you—not slow you down.
